saturday i had the pleasure to spend the day out with a few friends at a design*sponge event hosted by terrain just outside of philadelphia. it was the perfect way to spend a beautiful fall day. there was a craft and cocktails portion of the event that sold out really fast so we weren’t able to participate in that. but we did get in on the part after where grace shared a preview of her upcoming book, which is going to full of amazing and inspiring design. not to mention there will be a chapter on the best of sneak peaks…my favorite section on design*sponge. grace referred to the book as a “design bible”. it’s going to be incredible. stay tuned. we were even able to meet grace after and snag a picture. she is the sweetest person you will ever meet!

ok…now on to terrain. terrain is simply an overload of beauty. it is a nursery and home store that is like none other. heaven. i’ve never experienced anything like it before. they also have an amazing cafe. i had the perfect cup of coffee and the very best cookie i ever ate. it was a chewy ginger cookie. oh my…it was good. my friends had a cookie too and said it was the best they ever ate!

i can’t wait to go back. we are definitely planning another trip soon. the whole day was perfect. thanks guys for such a fun day :)
